Non-continuity Film & Evaluation

The non-continuity edit has a lot of key features that make it non-continuity and show the audience that the timeline of the film is not linear.

The biggest non-continuity edit I made was to alter the beginning and end of the film. I made the decision to move the ending from the the last scene of the film to the first scene.
This meant the films timeline was not linear. This was clear to the audience as the main character Tom is panicking and having a mental breakdown, when in the next scene, he is waking up and starting his morning.
This causes the audience to have immense intrigue and be on the edge of their seat for the rest of the film as they try to perceive how the main character ends up up in this situation.

To help show the audience that there has been a change from a linear timeline to a non-linear timeline there is a dramatic change in lighting from the first scene (the end) to the main character starting his day in bright lighting, which implies to the audience that its morning.
