identity fraud (mock)




To create awareness for Identity fraud, I filmed and edited a video about it. I edited the video on the premiere pro software. This software was perfect as it allowed me to crop and change shots as well as easily adding music. 





As shown on the above image I added a graphic to the video to show a stat about identity fraud in cases for 16-21 year olds , which was in the brief

Non-continuity Film & Evaluation

The non-continuity edit has a lot of key features that make it non-continuity and show the audience that the timeline of the film is not linear. The biggest non-continuity edit I made was to alter the beginning and end of the film. I made the decision to move the ending from the the last scene of the film to the first scene. This meant the films timeline was not linear. This was clear to the audience as the main character Tom is panicking and having a mental breakdown, when in the next scene, he is waking up and starting his morning. This causes the audience to have immense intrigue and be on the edge of their seat for the rest of the film as they try to perceive how the main character ends up up in this situation. To help show the audience that there has been a change from a linear timeline to a non-linear timeline there is a dramatic change in lighting from the first scene (the end) to the main character starting his day in bright lighting, which implies to the audience that ...

Filming progress

On 11/6/19, I took my cast and crew out to film internal and external scenes at my house.  I had checked the weather reports on the news and on my phone in advance of my shoot to make sure we would not encounter any adverse weather, and had organised with cast and crew via the group chat a shooting time of 11am-5pm.  Helping me with the camera was Tom, and Joe and Rob were the actors in the scene.  We used classmate Joshs car to transport our equipment which consisted of a Canon 1200D digital camera and a tripod  I had location scouted my own home was perfect as a location, as the size of the home and the tree line was perfect for an abandoned feel.
